Very good to great, depending on how often we connect. She is incredibly intelligent, gracious, faithful, and supportive.

Some of my favorite memories of childhood were tagging along with her for trips to the "city" (about an hour away) to run errands, shop, and explore new restaurants.

She loves being a grandma and spoils the kids with positivity and fun activities/treats.

for those with a strained relationship with mom (or dad). do everything in your power to at least be cordial with them. you wont always see eye to eye on things and on some things it may be the complete opposite of what you believe and be frustrating but one day they will be gone. while in the interim you may not believe it over time you are going to have some regrets.

two things that really stick out in my mind about my mom is she fiercely always believed in me even when i didnt believe in myself and she had my back no matter what stupid decision i made. the last six months of her life i remember her thanking me profusely for being her angel and saving her life only to have to look her in the eye on her couch 3 months later and know it was the last time i was going to see her. not a day goes by that i wish i had a few more minutes with her but i am very glad to know that she knew how much i loved her and how much she loved me before she passed.
