if i ever stop posting here just know it's prob bc some old person who shouldnt be driving ran me over or some drunk / stupid person on their phone ran me over
Where do you ride? I don't live that close to any trails, but my subdivision is connected to a few others which gives me a lot of pretty safe road to work with.

I wear a helmet when riding my e-scooter the few times a year I do. Was very glad I was wearing it when I fully wiped out, pissed, doing a late night shop run a few months back, that's for sure.

Too many idiots on the road, and occasionally the idiot is me.

Riding a scooter pissed is damn near impossible. A bike is easier somehow.

And Mr Brainz here was literally leaning his belly forward on the handle bars to keep the scooter straight while trying to text his wife at the time. It was an epic "going over the handle bars like a sack of shit" moment.

A car driving past at the time literally stopped for a sec, saw I was OK and laughed at me as they drove off.

The shame.

Stupid old bastard.

I was riding my foldup bike with my son up ahead, slight hill. I was checking over my shoulder and my boy slowed right down. I went arse over tit to avoid slamming into him. After checking I was okay he said "Dad you said the F word". Truth be told I screeched like a cockatoo.

I witnessed a dude on a 5 lane road riding a scooter at 45 mph, no helmet.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?
