In the thread today covering the delay to 2026, the top comment included contact information for suicide crisis lines.

Anyone shocked by this delay is an idiot. Not referring to anyone on this board, just what I've read on the net. It will get delayed once more, too. My prediction is October 2026. GTAV and RDR2 all over again.

Yeah, once it got into the second quarter of the year without a release date, everyone should have known this was getting delayed.

Second trailer is pretty god damn amazing though, as expected. Gonna be a long ass wait

I started GTA V the day this delay was announced. I have only ever played Vice City before this. My memory is fuzzy, but this feels very much like that game except the scope is just massive. I remember more or less knowing the Vice city map. No chance of that here. I’m doing the story and most of the side missions and am having a good time. I suppose online is where this really shines, but I’ll never do that.

Rolled the credits on this over the weekend. It’s truly a remarkable achievement, but unless I’m just misremembering, it was essentially just an upgrade in graphics and scope from the Vice City game I played over 20 years ago. Now that the story is done, I have zero desire to collect spaceship parts or pass aviation challenges. I’m not even tempted to just go on rampages. I’m just ready to move on. I had a good time and would rank this above RDR 2, but I enjoyed Last Of Us, God of War, and especially the Uncharted series way more.

Kinda sucks that GTA6 and Halo may very well release within a week of each other. Halo's 25th anniversary is Nov. 15.
