Can hear good separation of the guitars too. Just playing off each other.

Matt's drumming made me cream
I can't remember the last time they brought the funk like that
DUCK WALK TIME
what is that harsh grating fast tremolo on the guitar that appears once in a while? it's amazing
they sound passionate, I'm all in

I loved Gigaton, but was there anything that hit this raw on there? I don't think so.

“Denounce the demigods / king diamond to discard / deploy the dialog / your word against the law,” he sings before the chorus, which carries the repeated couplet “it’s strange these days, when everybody else pays for someone else’s mistake / this blame takes shape, still everybody else pays for someone else’s mistake.”
Sonically, “Dark Matter” slots in somewhere between the more tightly wound Pearl Jam of Vs. and the sleek, angry rockers found on later albums such as Binaural. Vedder’s trademark turn-of-phrase is evident during the zig-zagging bridge, where he commands, “No tolerance for intolerance or / no patience left for impatience no more / no love lost for lost loves / no sorrow for the unaccountable.” A short instrumental snippet of the song was debuted yesterday on The Bill Simmons Podcast.

That was pretty great. Catchy straight forward, I can see it being great live. Tons of energy

my only real crit is that 3.30 wasn't long enough, PJ have recently got this bad habit of giving us 2 bars of good instrumental stuff (intro, solo, etc.) when there should be four, or even eight

This album could be really good. I'm thinking about how many *other* parts of the metal door leak intrigued me. Oh boy...
