I'm worried about that every day of my life.

Before I turned 21, I did all kinds of jobs, but none of them ever paid enough to feel like I was getting ahead. I worked in fast food for a while, did some landscaping during the summers, and even tried my hand at retail, stocking shelves at a big box store. Each gig had its ups and downs, but at the end of the day, it was all about scraping by. If you're into making a bit more and love the thrill of games, I recently came across https://themulligans.org. It's been a fun way to mix things up and maybe earn a little extra on the side.

Glad I didn't work too much as a kid. Life just has too much work as it is, and school is plenty as a job anyway.

Had one year in the military from about my 19th birthday, after a three month period as a regular soldier. I got a job as an administrative assistant. I actually applied to be a clerk. got the job, and then after a couple of days on the job, they said: "What we really need is an administrative assistant, and you're the one we have chosen. It requires driving around a lot." Me: "I don't have a licence." Them: "Ok, we'll have a junior officer drive you around."
So for the next year I handed out weapons, ammunition, beverages for the shooting ranges, was the radio operator and hq administrator for field operations, wrote the wages for the soldiers, and because the administrative officer was gone most of the year, I also had to handle several of his tasks. In my papers from the captain of my company, it says that I did the job as an administrative officer with excellence. Really an incredible thing to have on your cv, even if it's really old now.

Then I worked two years for an insurance company around the ages 21-23, before I finished my education. And the rest of the story doesn't belong in this thread.

Worked at Davanni's Pizza, an office supply warehouse, landscaping for the city i grew up in, and ran my own landscaping company for a summer.

I think thats it.

Grocery store (bagging groceries / getting carts)
Paper boy (local paper)
Restaurants (Waited tables)
Field trials (throwing dead ducks around and having hunting dogs retrieve them)
Camp Counselor (summer camp jr. counselor)
Retail (Circuit City)
