It’s an omelette. We all learned something today. Good.

I’m curious how Jamie Oliver - a Brit - calling that a tortilla makes it correct.

Imagine using Jamie Oliver to try and prove your point.

dont argue with Chef Jose

Elevate a Spanish tortilla, the Mediterranean favourite, with this recipe from chef José Pizarro.

Dime is correct, the word "tortilla" is also used to describe a type of omelette / frittata type thing in Spain and many places in Latin America. Including here in Argentina, though it is followed by the modifier "de papa"

I spent about 4 days in Barcelona (back in 2013).

All the Gaudi stuff was great, everything else meh. The beach seemed great but it wasn’t very warm that week (May).

In retrospect I would have rather spent more time in Italy or found a more rustic part of Spain to visit.

Paella is the best! Depends on which kinds you have though I guess. Every single one could be different from person to person.

I didn’t need rescuing. The very idea lol

The lads were just wrong and should’ve just said ‘I hadn’t heard of that before. Cool.’

But no… had to wave the wang of ignorance around only for it to get smacked down

If I ever go to Spain, and ask for a tortilla and they give me what I’ve always known a tortilla to be, I’m going to be furious.
