Add Merkin Ball as well, and it was a wonderful time.

The thing that bothers me isn't even all of his social media posts about it 30 years later. It is the fans in his comment section that lump Ten in to the list of albums they think he was on, and how they essentially treat him as their first drummer. I need to find it, but I even saw a "PJ sucked after Ten" comment on a post that was supposed to be supporting Dave A.

I want an interview with him where they talk about recording techniques during Vs and Vitalogy sessions. Like, did he use reeds on Immortality? What was the mic and kit setup for Elderly Woman? What all was used and how was WMA layered? Shit like that.

I love both, but no, they are not their best albums.

That was actually a pretty great interview. He still seems to get stressed talking about those moments. I suppose i can understand that. BUt he also seems happy and he did address the "people online think im bitter when i talk about it, i only have a high school degree so.....but im not bitter"
And he's open to talking. Maybe he will some day!
Until then its just me and Dave A collaborating. Gonna pimp myself out here but this is me and a Dave A Collab for those new to PJ Chat arguing about Dave A that didnt venture into other bands of RM

Dave A and Strat need to make a band so we can listen to him talk about his new band, not his old one.

Looks like he had a pretty solid breakfast.
I found it fucking comical how oblivious Dave A continues to be and how he fails to comprehend the difference between his own fame and that of Eddie's at the time.
All nice and good that Dave A didn't have to put up walls around his house or fight off crazy stalkers and deal with death threats.
Good for him that fame was so comfortable & manageable; even to the point where he could invite fans into his home and cook them Salmon.
Eddie's trip was a little bit more complicated and the fact he seems to not understand that makes him come across as a total moron.
Dave was clearly not the right fit personality wise for Pearl Jam, and the band wouldn't even be around today had Dave A stayed in the band.
His contribution on Vs. & Vitalogy was great - but I've never missed his presence in the band, and truly believe that both Jack and Matt could not only replicate his parts...but played the parts even better live than Dave A ever could. Jack's live drumming on the Vitalogy tracks have always been superior to Dave's (See 1995 tour and The 94 self pollution radio broadcast) and Matt Cameron is like one of the greatest drummers of his generation....
I'm a Vitalogy, No Code & Yield guy ...so that obviously informs all of my comments above.

Do you guys think Dave A thinks about Pearl Jam everyday? Or maybe he’s just happy to dig this stuff up every once in awhile to make a buck.

He posts about it on social media just about every day, so, yes?

Because of the nature of opinions, you are definitively BOTH RIGHT.
