wease wrote:Loved it. Really dug the odd time signature. Bammer’s right. Singer sounds like Astbury.

Trag’s influence certainly comes thru on the snare sound. Very reminiscent of Matt’s from Superunknown.

What guitars/amps did you use?

Can’t wait to hear more.

Hey thanks everyone! Actually quite warmed with your comments and appreciate you all taking the time to listen! I am super pumped about how this one turned out!

Wease : most songs were recorded with my fender twin 2 and a combo of SG, Les Paul with p90's and my strat.

God Size Hole is rad. The menacing, stumbling bass has big Ament vibes. Digging the backing vocals. The Soundgarden-esque freakout was sick. Your guitar work rules as always.

Pls sign my penis.

Just curious, what are your specific contributions to this song (and others)? I know you played guitar, did you write the song(s) too?
Thanks tree!!i I appreciate it.

For this song in particular I wrote all the music and played both guitars and bass. I had a vision for the drums and my drummer knocked it out of the park. Singer wrote lyrics.

I'd say that's about how it went for a little more than half the songs coming out. The singer wrote a handful of songs himself - sometimes I'd write the bridge
As the (very talented) lead guitarist in my high school band liked to say … What do you call a guy who hangs out with 4 musicians? … A drummer.

I'm still processing it.

One of the best musical experience nights of my life. For sure.

Quick shares

End of baba with rich. We didn't rehearse.

But to connect with him (he's an incredible dude) and watch him pound away was a dream come true. He broke the cymbal. Sliced it. Amazing.

This is his song stargazer. We learned it for him to sing. We all struggled to find our rhythm at the beginning as he clearly hadn't sang it live much but once we got it ....it was every thing I want in a song and performance. Just some music lovers trying to figure it out as we go along.

It's a beautiful song

Sorry, on phone and don't know how to imbed.

Beautiful night. Great turnout. Everything I ever wanted.

Stuverad leaned over to me during stargazer ....during harmonica solo....and said "I'm cominf to Minneapolis immediately."

He loved us. Wants to play with us. Record. And do shows out west.

I'm flying high. We played 45 minutes. Songs I care for deeply.

Best night of my musical life.

I'm flying high yet still processing it. Felt like a legit musical experience and gig.

I can't say enough nice things about stuv. Just a gent. And a beast behind the kit. He was so gracious we "let him sit in with us" but geezes ...pleasure was all ours.

He got a kick out of me playing the main riff of "hole in the road" from tres mtn during sound check!
