Monica and Cynthia getting nods is all I really care about. Those two performances were each outstanding and neither is talked about enough.

Yes, but I’ve only seen three of this year’s nominees, and those three are arguably not up to snuff with several from last year.

But ultimately, this is stupid, cuz it’s just an arbitrary line in the sand which films fall into which year.

I actually think a year is just about the best way possible to separate between movies, or anything else in life. One more year around the sun.
