This version of Mirrorball was a massive disappointment. The remixes suck. Neil completely destroyed BGC.

I’ll only spin my OP when I want Mirrorball.

Are there remixes? I thought this was just a reissue of the original album. Anyway I’m mostly interested in the hopefully soon to be released live performances.

Im really happy with my original vinyl i got very cheap a long time ago but i would gladly got that live version

are there any additional tracks (e.g. live) on this reissue?

Yeah, the description doesn’t even read like it’s an updated mix/master. In fact the description seems completely unenthused to even be announcing the release. Like someone had to stop scrolling TikTok to write that and were clearly annoyed.

Technically, it’s a Neil Young reissue.

Would be shocked if Mirror Ball sounded that bad. The NYA releases are among the best sounding records I own. Was just listening to Freedom yesterday and it was like hearing the record for the first time.

I have the original pressing and sounds awesome so i dont think the album needs anything to be honest

Neil Young fans are hard core particularly for extra releases, live stuff, anniversaries etc. The album could be the exact same including the artwork and a lot of people would buy it.

Nah this sounds great. It is noted to be remastered but I just love the sound of this record. I never had the OP but this sounds great.

It sounds like there's going to be live Mirrorball material in Archives Vol. IV.

This arrived yesterday. I haven't had a chance to spin it yet, but it just feels good knowing it's on my shelf at home waiting for me.

I don’t think Eddie Vedder sang the “Hey ho way we go” chorus on Song X. Others have said it’s him. I’ve been wrong about this era before so I’d like to hear other opinions.
