we have three offspring. when they were birthed, it was like an alien movie. slimy little fuckers covered in god knows what. two years later they're the funniest person you know. 3, 4, high school, college. goes by fast, but holding those little aliens is the best I'll ever be

I’ve been subjecting my five year old to the Opening Ceremonies this afternoon. She’s been saying stuff like “they’re wasting their whole night” and “they must be nocturnal people.” Never have I heard a more poignant and scathing indictment of this particular slog. Kids have it figured out, adults suck.
