I like their ambience and think their guitar and keyboard flourishes are extremely well-thought out (a fact which the ambience can obscure, frankly), but the melodies seal the deal.

They definitely explore a very specific type of mood, but it's so beautiful that I don't even care if it's lacking in the balls department. KINDA LIKE HOW I FEEL ABOUT MY GIRLFRIEND, HEH

No, but seeing them live was seriously one of the most emotionally intense live experiences I've been through

Atlanta, yes. Not usually Nashville, a little too far for me.

Band was great, hipster festival crowd was shitty as fuck. Enjoyed the show with Doc and Chloe

Looking at that set makes me realize that I know virtually none of their songs by name -- like, I recognize all those titles, but I couldn't begin to tell you what songs they describe. But since I've never really disliked a BH song -- great set! Glad it was fun, Ruddo.

It's a shame that they don't play "On the Sea" more often. That's such a great song.
