I won't front and pretend I found this record floating the ether, but after reading a very glowing review of these dues from Aquarius and I went and checked out their record. It's pretty much a perfect pop record. I know its an easy point of reference, but you liked Weezer before the suck came on so strong, give this a listen. Shit, with a name like Herzog, they've got to be good. The fucking album cover rules!

i haven't looked into any of their other stuff yet... this song has a cool vibe though that for some reason reminds me of some early-mid 90's stuff..

this is also a really cool track... he was in Death From Above 1979 (if you haven't heard of them, i suggest checking them out!)

We don't have a Dire Straits thread, and I dunno if I want to start one, but I just gotta say: I fucking love Dire Straits. I just finished getting their entire 1980s discography on vinyl and listen to it every chance I can get.

I feel bad for my stance on Dire Straits. I like a few songs but I don't know, "Walk of Life" is the most annoying shit ever. It has tainted them for me.

I don't know, I think if a Dire Straits song is going to be crowned Most Annoying Shit Ever it has to be "Twisting by the Pool".

I'm very fond of So Far Away, and Water of Love is also a fave. Love Over Gold is a great album. Lots of good stuff here.

I'm madly in love with the guitar tones on Blur's "Bugman". What a song.
