Me too.

That 'reluctant sensitivity' (great phrase) is something unique to Jack's playing in the band and something he brings in spades to songs like Sometimes, Off He Goes, Around the Bend, Wishlist, etc.

Co-sign -- all songs that were never the same again after he left (I say as one who has enjoyed plenty of Matt versions of those tunes).

And is otherworldly when they play it live.

agreed - one of the rare songs for me that I probably prefer live, or at least recognize that live captures even more fully the best moments of the studio version
