Without you is just Dead man, on a Joe with different lyrics.
But overall the few demos of this that are on gremmie are a lot more painful honest and soul bearing than the record version.
Can't imagine 10c were ever happy they're out there. I heard how they came to be and I can only imagine the torture ed went through. Betrayal of trust on a huge scale.

A lot of Ed songs could be called another Dead Man, but they're pretty in their own right as well.

What, his marriage breakdown? That description sounds a little excessive. I'm sure it was upsetting for both of them on a personal level but it's not like it's anything particularly unusual.

I think something could not be out of the ordinary and still be crushing to an individual. I'll admit I'm saying this without knowing a damn thing about the particulars besides that there was a divorce.

I thought he meant how we got the leak. Presuming ed only gave a copy to his close friends, it was one of them that put it on the internet....hence betrayal of trust.
Or the whole marriage collapse thing yeah.

Sirens is actually about him waking up in the middle of the night to check if the the hard copy of lightning bolt hasn't been stolen, he sees it on the dresser, and the fear goes away.
