She's on SNL tonight. I'm actually looking forward to watching this episode.

"Cruel" has been part of my regular rotation for a few weeks, but I've been a little obsessed with her since the SNL performance. What's the chance that her free show in August in Brooklyn will be manageable and not crowded to death?

Is this the most badass thing that's ever been on Letterman?

How ridiculous do you think those other band members feel doing those "dance" moves though?

Everybody seemed pretty into it. And when is a song is that rad, you dance and you don't fucking complain about it.

I've listened to a few of her studio tracks and I like 'em fine enough, I suppose. But her live stuff is on a totally different level. She's unstoppable live. Just unreal. Kinda can't wait for a live album.

Can somebody recommend like a top 5 to 10 tracks to check out by St. Vincent? I've heard Cruel and Bring me Your Loves (obviously). I've also casually listened to a few others, but I can't recall titles right now.

Anybody got a "must listen" they wanna throw my way?

Stereogum tells me:

10. Krokodil
9. Actor Out of Work
8. The Apocalypse Song
7. Laughing with a Mouthful of Blood
6. Dilettante
5. Just the Same but Brand New
4. Cheerleader
3. Surgeon
2. Marrow
1. Stranger Mercy

That article comes from Oct of '13.

This thread pleases me...

She is so great live, whether solo with a stomp box, or with band. First time I saw her, she was the guitarist for the Polyphonic Spree, then saw her open solo for The National!!! Have seen her open for Flaming Lips with full band and a headlining club show. Annie Clark is an unbelievable talent!

Anyone see or comment on her performance with Nirvana?
