I heard Long Road and Indifference, my two fav PJ songs, and Fatal, Oceans, and SoH, 3 of my 5 "gotta hear it some day" songs over 4 days. Amazing tour for everyone but Ricky.

I haven't listened to any boots all the way through but no way from LA2 and tremor Christ from san Diego are both awesome. I can't remember what show it was but deep had an intro I hadn't heard before.

After listening to Buffalo this morning on the drive into the city, I gotta take back a previous comment about there not being a bad show on the tour. It was not that good.

I've always been annoyed by Eddie's penchant for singing, "fucking trip" in Present Tense, since it just seems like too nice(?) of a song to put the invective in ... but Buffalo's "All i feel is fucking calm," in Low Light is really a new low in this regard.

I can't think of one instance where Eddie cramming a swear word into an otherwise clean song doesn't sound totally juvenile. It's ridiculous at this point. You're almost fifty, dude--grow up.

Low Light has been really cool in this tour so far.

He sometimes sings "this aint a fucking movie" in Cropduster, and for unknown reasons, that one works for me.

Yeah that's one of the few that doesn't really bother me.

There was a great quote/improv from one of these shows, I can't quite remember which one, but Ed was like:

"You guys got anything to do tomorrow?" And the Crowd's like "shhhhhhaaaa hhhaaaaa, nooo", and then Ed's like: "OK, we're gonna be here a while" And the crowd's like "ssssshhhhaaaa haaaa, yeeaahh" And then Ed's like: "This next track is about me being awesome" and then Ed just starts clapping in 4/4 time and Matt C comes in with a generic 4/4 hi hat sound that is 1.4x Ed's clapping tempo, and Ed just starts riffing: "<H sound> <H sound> <H sound> <Euro soccer style chant> <H sound> "fucking" <H sound> <H sound>"

I thought the "fucking" part really took away from it though
