Yuck. I thought this would be a better game. It's ugly so far. Ugly.

Ponder injured. He's out. Joe Webb in.

God fucking damnit.

Oh boy.

Welp. Everyone says Peterson is the offense. If that's true, shouldn't be too much of a problem, right?

We definitely were not winning due to Ponders ability but he had hit a stride the past few games and has played smart enough to keep us in the game. now throwing an entirely new QB in there? Webb is basically a wide receiver/running back that can sort of throw the ball. THis is bad news. We already had the chance of being embarrassed but now?

I hope im wrong. Hopefully the pack continues to be unable to stop peterson and Webb at least provides a chance....

I don't know if I'd go so far as to say it's ugly--I think it's more the defenses playing good than the offenses playing bad. I'm sure I've watched worse playoff games than this one.

Oh for sure. And it's improved tremendously in the second half.

That first half was gross, though. Both QB's throwing ducks. Weird mistakes. The Bengals had something like -8 passing yards in the half. Ugly.

I love watching games where I have no real stake in the winner. So much fun. And this thing is starting to heat up. It's getting really fun as it winds down.

I was rooting for the Texans because of Kubiak and the fact that maybe they can soften up the Pats a bit better with a chip on their shoulder to avenge that blowout loss in the regular season.

There was a rule application that I really didn't like near the end of that game. With about 2:12 left in the game, the Texans got a key first down inbounds. Normally, they would have let it run to the two minute warning and then take three knees to seal the game. But the Bengals committed an unnecessary roughness penalty that stopped the clock, and forced the Texans to run a play before the two minute warning. That penalty the Bengals committed actually helped them. The rules committee needs to allow the other team to ask for the clock to run in that scenario if they so choose.

Good call. I agree with that policy change. I'd support that.

Texans at Pats is gonna be fun.

This is another game that I have no stake in. I picked Green Bay, but it's not like I have money on it or anything. I just want a good, exciting game.

If the Vikes pull it off, that would be a lot of fun. And I love Jared Allen. So, I'll be happy no matter who wins.

They just showed some highlights of Webb playing a couple of years ago, and i forgot how good of a runner he was, he could be a problem for the pack, but i still cant see the pack not winning, but we will see

Am I the only one that's kind of thrilled that Webb is playing? He has done some crazy things before and having him in some zone read looks could be very bad for GB. This was already a good game but it actually got better with Ponder being out IMO.

Asside from the throw he just tried to mike while being taken down, he has been pretty exciting to watch so far

I wonder if there's ever been another time in NFL history where two Idaho State alums have been on the field at the same time.
