Listened to the 2000 chicago show on PJ radio yesterday. Still can't believe they went 22 songs without a break, insane. What I did realize is how much awful uke player ed was back then. Soon forget sounded terrible.

It was weird hearing Even Flow and not wanting to skip it.

When MFC started with that droning guitar I thought "man, this is the type of shit that made this band great"

Nothing is sped up. Red Mosquito had this slow churning crunch to it.

The pre-Habit imrpov is one of my favorite little things about the 98 tour, and this is one of the better ones.

1998 was clearly the best year for Betterman.

They really, really need to release some of those shows through the Vault.

Those magical years before they realized how good they were and fucked it all up.

2003 was awesome, but it was the start of the real Pearl Jam show as a celebration thing, which in my opinion is what ultimately led to their demise.
