harmless may not approve of this as a benchmark of masculinity. I figure as long as I can bench 140, I can bench any girl I'd ever date. Do I need to be more masculine than that?
society has really been brainwashed by hollywood to think ryan gosling looks better than me.

Society is great because while Ryan Gosling, a fellow Canadian, is better looking than me, women still go out with me and I don't even have to hide who I am.
no no surf, your 10 times hotter than him. we guys got to stick up for each other!!
I only care if a woman thinks I'm I'm funny and fun to spend time with. I can't do much about what I look like, so I don't really concern myself with that kind of game.

I definitely should have gone with the unconscious sex positive woman joke earlier.

I'm just a bit confused as to why surfndestroy thinks feminism isn't actually after 'gender equality'. It's a bit like saying I don't like racing cars I prefer driving... nonsensical. Feminists want gender equality; in choosing the latter over the former, you're basically just saying you don't like the word because it contains the feminine.

I hope snd will respond.

If not, i have more data to share when I can find a time later to devote my full attention here.

It's OK, I'm kinda bored of the whole debate. Whatever data you share will make me go yeah, OK, data. I know there's data. You know what I'm arguing and it's to do with balance and proportion of systemic abuse. And even regardless of that, no data will tell me why some people are just scared of the word 'feminism'. They're either not sure what feminism wants to achieve (gender equality) or they have a problem with (hidden or overt) misogyny.

So yeah, it has nothing to do with data. Don't need to see data.

This right here, is why some men believe feminism is suspect. Because feminist seem to be afraid of the results the data may show.

Feel free to show me some data that suggests we don't need feminism. I'm scared of nothing, and you're actually just insulting my intelligence now. You have no idea what I've read or looked at.

And I don't care for the reasons why men think feminism is suspect, just as I don't care why able-bodied people feel disability rights is suspect, or why white people think anti-racism efforts are suspect, or why straight and cis people don't like LGBT rights.

Actually, why is it you care so much what men think of feminism?

Because I hate it when people fear the unknown.

You could have just left it at I don't care about men.
