I think that is the central core of their charm. They evolve but they always sound like Spoon.

They just announced a third DC show (cause the other two sold out fast)....I'm thinking maybe I should go.

while i agree about their consistency, i disagree about not being able to tell which year/era...

Let's be careful not to confuse the uniqueness of Britt Daniels' voice with predictability.

I can take this even further...I don't even know the difference between all the albums. I just go to Rhapsody and pick a random one and play it...lol...they all sound the same to me. I still like them a lot though.

New York Kiss is something special.

It sure is.

I think the album starts and ends with its best four songs.

Throw in #8 n starts n ends with best 5

6 is the only one I wanna skip

If I had to choose a weak link it would probably be the cover.

It's a good performance but I don't think it necessarily adds something to the album that wasn't represented before. I would rather hear another original composition.

This album is now my fav Spoon album.

Do You, They Want My Soul and New York Kiss

The title track is perfect. Definitely a top three Spoon record.

I think Kill the Moonlight and Girls Can Tell are pretty untouchable. But I'd put it at the top of the second tier.

Definitely Kill the Moonlight. But I would put this album and GaGaGaGa right up there with Girls Can Tell just below KTM.
