Indifference was 1,000,000x better live with Dave's fills... and when Ed didn't warble it all up. Good ol' days syndrome, I know.

This was my hardest one yet, but Indifference remains one of my top 3 songs.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

Wow, I thought Parting Ways would have this one wrapped up. Indifference has definitely lost a bit for me, but that probably has as much to do with it now only being played with the house lights up after RITFW as anything. Still, pitting the studio versions against each other, Parting Ways gets the (close) nod.

I'm predicting that 2014 will be the year that Pearl Jam starts playing Parting Ways at the end of the night with the house lights on as a goodbye song. Ed will change the lyrics to something like "And though it's been lots of fun to play/I'm afraid we'll soon be parting ways." Instead of "Drifting away" at the end it'll be "Get home ok!"

sadly, that sounds plausible.Lament wrote:I'm predicting that 2014 will be the year that Pearl Jam starts playing Parting Ways at the end of the night with the house lights on as a goodbye song.
