I think it's fair to say there are more white people interested in hip hop and r&b than there are POC interested in Pearl Jam.

the woman i hung out with this weekend is a recent fan of early Pearl Jam, she is black

I have friends "of color" who are fans.

I bet the mixture of right and left leaning people at a show is far too diverse for the band's liking.

I met an Asian girl who was really into them once, but she was really annoying.

a whiter audience, even a younger one, is also more likely to skew conservative.

The fact that they can sell out arenas all over the world has to lend some weight to having a fair amount of diversity amongst their fans.

My girlfriend came with me to the Vancouver and Seattle shows last year. She had seen Pearl Jam at home with me, but it was her first time traveling to shows. When the lights came on during "Alive" the first thing she said was, "look at all the white people!"
I thought that was a funny observation.
