I have to agree with most of the above, doesn't really sound like a good idea. Maybe you can just celebrate with going to a show and get your fix that way?
I get wanting to do things your way but the whole experience may just be awkward, for you included.

In all seriousness, there's a "Piano Tribute to Pearl Jam" album that is actually decent background dinner music. Sort of the best of both worlds for a wedding. Just play it through twice and you get your PJ fill, sprinkle some other songs in during the dance too.
But you'd probably want to reconsider going 100% Pearl Jam. That could end up making yours the reception that people talk about for a long time... and for all the wrong reasons.
Awesome idea, though.

1) Lowlight - walking down the aisle
2) You Are - walking hand in hand out, leaving the ceremony
3) Parachutes - guests entering reception
4) Just Breathe - first dance
5) Daughter - bride's dance with father
6) Why Go? - groom's dance with mother
Then the rest of the night, this playlist:
7) Deep
8) Animal
9) Leash
10) Gone
11) Sleeping By Myself
12) Can't Keep
13) Go
14) Parting Ways
15) Gonna See My Friend
16) Life Wasted
17) Alone
18) Olé -- end of the night while guests leave
Bravo, RM! Someone actually took her seriously.

Did Lyndsay end up canceling the wedding? If so, is she single?
Cool.

She's single and she loves Pearl Jam.
Do your thing, Strat.

I bet they started a petition for Pearl Jam to record a new version of Just Breathe with her and her husband's names added to it over at the Pit.

Is the "parting ways on repeat" joke already in use?

My friend just asked me to play Just Breathe on guitar at her wedding this saturday . Its super informal at the base of the Mountain. No dress code. Ski all day, then meet at the base for the ceremony.
I dont think i will do it.

Say what you want about the decision to use the song, but if you can play it and your friend asked you to do so at her wedding, you probably should just say yes.

Tell her you'll do it if you can change the words to "just ski."

I actually suck at finger picking and my right thumb is mostly vacant of any feeling. So, it would be a hack job but I could fumble through it. ITs a wedding. i can't.
Also, I slept with her numerous times in the past.
