that's a nice version, full of moments that are almost as good as Not For You. But there's nothing in NAIS as good as the start of NFY. The slowly burning fuse, the languid anger, it's just soooooo good. Listen to remind yourself. You've been living with this song for 20 years. It's easy to forget

As I said, it's almost as good. that is a great great solo nonetheless. It's too bad it's surrounded by 4 minutes of pretty good.

it's not one of their very best, but neither is NAIS. They're both at the bottom of the top tier.

NAIS is top 5.

Not For You is the most overrated song in the entire catalog

Current Not For You live is silly.

Not For You in the context of Vitalogy or live versions from '94-'95 (and on occasion through 2000) is a bottle of emotion that gets smashed against the wall. That's the version that gets my vote.
