If you travel a lot, say 10 nights / year, you may want to stick to one hotel brand. Loyalty club perks like free stays, breakfasts, wifi, room upgrades, all start to add up in terms of cost, comfort, and convenience. My October PJ trip runs 8 nights, from the 16th to the 23rd, all of which was paid for in Hilton points I earned via credit card use.

Rates around $150/night - little steep for a Monday night in Milwaukee...
I'm at the Ramada Downtown. $80 a night and 4 blocks away. You can't beat that!
The Doubletree is across the street from the Ramada and a little closer.
but both are truly walkable right? For that price difference, it might be worth an extra block walk to crash on a Monday night.
Will there be any bars open in that area after the show?
Yes there are always bars open. The city is full of alcoholics

sweet, nothing like hanging with the 2am crowd on a Monday night.

I'm starting to get excited. I hope that old "next to last show of the tour" mumbojumbo holds true.

Me too. Getting really excited to see them in my home arena. Hope they tear that place down.

With the exception of the TV, this room hasn't been updated since 1987 or so.

It's pronounced "mill-e-wah-que" which is Algonquin for "the good land."

Probably won't be an audience recording of this show, huh? I've got a few friends bugging me for one.
