I get the sense Soundgarden are planning on working on a new record next year, I imagine that will limit Matt's availability to some extent.

Has it since Soundgarden got back together? It doesnt seem like Matt playing with them has adversely affected PJ at all, really.

I read a rumor that Soundgarden is hitting the studio in early 2015.

It would have had impact this summer if PJ shared him.

Matt doesn't tour with SG because he has trouble playing the songs too fast.
Mike's gut develops the first ever case of intestinal ebola.
Stone does some Brad shows so Shawn Smith has rent money.
Ed spends the year writing the foreword for a Bruce Springsteen album reissue.
Boom nervously walks to the convenience store every day to ask the clerk if "Eddie" tried calling him.

Definitely my favorite PJ post in quite some time.

BO'B's 2015 will be compressed from 52 weeks to 30 weeks.

I wouldn't be surprised to see some Ed solo shows again.

I'd always wondered what motivates South Americans to write "COME TO ARGENTINA!!!!!!" (and so on) under every post on the band's social media accounts. Er, I guess it works?

Decent chance they do a Chris Christie fundraiser in the fall of 2015. I just assume they are free market Republicans now.

If SA is true for the spring, I wonder where there will be a second leg next year since they usually do 25 shows per year. There were rumors of Europe again but festival season seems a little soon to play again if they finish up SA in May. I wonder if they'd do Canada again (would make sense since most cities haven't had a Lightning Bolt show) or anchor a tour around Lollaplooza in August or maybe Fenway Park finally?

A few shows in the summer at stadiums would be sweet. Something like this.....

Nationals Park (DC)
Comerica Park (Detroit)
Wrigley (Chicago)
Cowboys Stadium (Arlington/Dallas)
Levi's (SF)
Safeco (Seattle)

I don't think they could sell all those seats.

You might be right. Maybe just Wrigley, Fenway and Safeco then? I'm actually surprised they have never played Safeco.
