I'm not writing it off, mind you, but this (like fantastic four) has become a movie I'll see based on reviews, unlike the X-men or Marvel Studios films.

I like parts of the first two X-Men movies but other than that they don't really do it for me.

Actually I shouldn't say that I've never seen either of the Wolverine movies or the last X-Men movie maybe they'd rock my world.

Yea but the comics are somewhat like thatstip wrote:I don't know. I like the irreverance, but I don't know that the R rating is going to help this movie. It still feels a bit like it's trying too hard, like a kid discovering curse words for the first time.

Deadpool was pretty good as part of the Rick Remender's Uncanny X-Force run but his solo comics do nothing for me.

Man I was so disappointed in Ted. My wife and I sat down ready to laugh but we only lasted 20 min.
