Anyone else missing the demon?
For anyone that tends to prefer organization, what.cd bitch-slaps the fuck out of waffles.
Agreed. I log into Waffles every so often just because, but then I nearly instantly remember why I never do.
Anyone have any suggestions for Demon replacements (tv, movies, apps, etc)?
Damn, I've been using Waffles and didn't know that What was so much better. I like those Vinyl Rip stats!
I find Pirate Bay great for movies.... you can already find stuff like the Hobbit, This is 40, Django, etc...
Meanwhile I used EZTV for tv shows, or TVTorrents is awesome for older series (invited needed I think).
So can anyone send a what.cd invite?

Never received any warnings from my ISP. Do you use something like Peer Block or Peer Guardian?
I've had that running/updated on my machine for the last few years and never had an issue. The only warning I ever received was like 5 years ago for some shit movie with Luke Wilson called "My Girlfriend's a Superhero" or something like that. Since then haven't had a problem.

I'm not an expert on this side of things, but from what I understand: if you're not using a seedbox or some really involved encryption, no, TPB and other public trackers are not safe. That isn't to say that private, invite-only trackers are completely safe, but it's an added layer of protection.

i use a seedbox bc Comcast was killing my connection while i was seeding 400+ torrents
Even then, I still don't want to use public torrents

I wouldn't tust public ones. My biggest beef is somehow its hard for people to connect to my torrent after I downloaded the entire file. I'd maintain a better ratio, if I maintained a 1:1.

I dunno if it's the norm, and they didn't play it NYE, but at that show they were jamming out tons of songs. "Steam Engine" was easily 10+ minutes, "Phone Went West" was probably 12+ minutes, most songs were around 6-7.

I don't know what to use my last ten tokens on, so I guess I'll download the complete Butthole Surfers discography?

They are one of my favorite bands, Doc, so I hope you like them. They're older albums are really the best, but their sound has gotten better over time as they've added instruments.
