It was one of the very best of the series.

That's one of my favourite scenes in the books.

Is it just me or is Jamie looking like shit this season?

My wife and I noticed in the first season during the wedding episode that when he slicks his hair back he looks kinda weird. His face looks angular and thin but when his hair is down he looks normal. He's had his hair back a lot this season. I need to go do something manly now to counter act those last couple sentences.

I've always thought they got the casting wrong when I comes to Jamie, it's becoming more noticeable every season.

I thought he's done well, some dudes just go through aging spurts. There aren't a lot of dudes that look like the covers of dime-store romance novels and can act and are passably Scottish. (But I didn't read the books)

I haven't read the books either mostly cause I don't want to spoil the show so I don't know how he compares to the character on the page but I think he's a fine actor and I like him a lot. He just can look strangely different based on his hairstyle.

Other than the red hair and muscles he doesn't really resemble the author's description.
James Norton is more what I had in mind from the books.

I thought it was tastefully done, but did nothing for the story. Claire's voice-over during the dinner scene seemed a bit out of place as well.

It was tasteful for sure, just sayin' times sure have changed.
It was an episode for the romantics, to reconnect the two lovers and show the spark was still there.

Kinda feel like nothing has happened the second half of the season...
