I woke up with this song playing in my head. Such a beautiful little ballad. Much different sounding version here than the countryish version on Workingman's Dead but it was the only time I got to see it live.

i will check them out for sure
ive got some yard work that has to get done this weekend, so that will be prefect for listening to a show
and no offense to anyone that likes them, but ive never listened to phish and dont really have any plans to do so.
Oh Doc, hearing you say that makes me want to take you to the next NC or VA show. As much as you love music, you would dig Phish.
I listen to the Dead but never religiously. I love Tennessee Jed nd have thrown it on many mix tapes.
For JGB, check out Cats Under the Stars. Great album!
I've always thought that while the guys in Phish are all talented musicians and play their asses off that the songwriting is a far cry from what Hunter/Garcia turned out. There's just something missing that's always made me tune them out.

Listening to "Movie Soundtrack" right now.
"One More Saturday Night" is probably the worst Dead original from the 1967-1977 period. Otherwise this thing is sublime.
