The outro.

i was not clear with my original statement. the 7/8 was in regards to the main verse riff. Now come kiss me.

Ask me on the right day and I might call "In the Moonlight" my favorite PJ tune.

Kevin Davis is responsible for at least 3 In The Moonlight listens where I've tried to go back and figure out what he hears in it.

The uncomfortable jaggedness of the verses opening up into sexy soulful spaciousness in the chorus.

Gets me everytime. Love it.

The chorus is decent

I think Matt gets pigeon-holed by PJ songs, and the rest of the band gets pigeon-holed by Matt songs.

His songs are clearly the best Pearl Jam songs.

Also: I enjoyed Wendy's posts in this thread.

I'm not one who typically keeps track of who penned each song or whatever. But I love most of the songs mentioned so far: In the Moonlight, Cropduster, You Are, Evacuation, these are all really nice to fucking brilliant. In the Moonlight and Cropduster, especially, being two among some of my very favorite by the band.

I hope this circle jerk doesn't forget The Fixer.
