Thanks, I didn't want to spoil any of the season by reading too much, so I quit after this:

That's really all I need to know to be excited for this season.

Jesus! One episode in and already the tension is at a boiling point. Love Keri Russell and her character.

Just noticed the first season is available on Amazon Prime Instant Streaming. Might have to finally give it a watch since I missed it when it initially aired.

I feel dumb for passing on the first season. I thought for sure it was going to be one of those one and done FX shows. Stupid.

Who is after the Russian spies? It's clearly not the FBI...CIA??

That was a very good opening ep. Really set the stage for these guys to have their backs against the wall. And, jeezus, those scenes with Keri? They really don't hold anything back on this show.

My guess: I don't think it was the CIA. If anything, I'd guess it was a professional hit, maybe hired by the KGB or private enterprise as a mop up job or something. Its possible they even got the wrong family and it was supposed to be Phillip & Elizabeth. A hit man might not know there was a son.

Did you know that one of the producers of this show was a CIA agent for 4 years. All scripts are reviewed by the CIA prior to being shot so no actual techniques or methodology is divulged. Some scenes needed to be revised as a result.

I liked Season 1, but haven't started Season 2 yet.

it seems as if the show is about to pick up steam.
