Oscars are for movies like Sniper or Selma or Imitation Game. They seem to get more conservative every year. At this point the Oscar bait formula is so predictable these movies are no better than summer blockbusters.
Selma wasn't even nominated.

i think that was good. but LV is the final word on movies around here, so we'll have to see what he thinks.

Yeah, that would make sense. Except I know the Oscars are dumb and almost all recent Best Picture winners (and nominees) are terrible, so I wouldn't really want a good movie to be recognized by the Academy.
Also, I'm not sure the most "me" post would contain a hashtag.
