Wow, from Dec. 9, 1995. Does SNL often air episodes from that far back? Might be reason to watch it.

Probably just for his new solo album coming out this year. "Future Never" I think. I pre-purchased the vinyl. Hoping it will be very good if he really spent a few years working on just this album. I know that can be misleading though.
