I read the book in two days based on the movie's synopsis. Boy, I hated it.

The line in the trailer, "I'm gonna have to science the shit out of this!" makes me very trepidatious.

That's more or less taken directly from the book, and quite representative of the prose throughout.

Started this book this morning and halfway through and I love it and hope the film can live up to it

It's not like saying your favorite color is red, man. It's a great book. You're wrong.

This has been getting good reviews so far. Pumped to see it in a couple of weeks. Finished the book about a week ago.

Ok so I went in as a big fan of the book and sceptical they could pull It off. But they nailed it. This film is awesome. There's a few moments where it feels like it's dragging but they cleverly remind you of the timescales involved in staging the stuff they have to do.
Damon plays it perfectly. All the humour from the book is there and it works.
And it looks Fuckin awesome! Didn't know we were gonna be seeing it in 3D but it worked better than any 3D I'd seen apart from avatar. Will definitely watch this again and recommend it.

Only saw one stupid sorta continuity thing but it was nothing. Go see it.

Anyone seen this yet?

Forgot to say, keep your ears open for a couple of nods to Alien in the score

Ah I'm sorry lads. Didn't know it wasn't out there. That's weird cos we usually get stuff a week or so after the states. It's used to be months after but the internet put a stop to that.

Hope you enjoy it when you see it anyways. It's a great film.

I'm going to see this next week. Read the book in a coupla days - not exactly praiseworthy prose, but definitely a fun ride. I'm pretty sure I'll enjoy the film, too.
