At least Brendan O'Brien once had a hand in making some pretty good records, every Cameron Crowe film I've seen has been terrible.
(Caveat: people go gaga for Vanilla Sky but I've never seen it.)

Singles is a (Pearl Jam) classic. Say Anything is also well worth watching,

I'd need to see it again (not very likely) to give a more nuanced critique but it always really rubbed me up the wrong way, I think I felt as though Crowe was enthusiastically glorifying the most childish and cliched aspects of rock music.

Say Anything is outstanding. Almost Famous is wonderful. Vanilla Sky is great. Singles is a lot of fun. Jerry Maguire hasn't aged as well, but it's got some great scenes/performances.
And I fucking loved PJ20, too. I'm not afraid to say it.
So, yeah, I like Cameron Crowe.

I would like Cameron Crowe and all his manic pixie dreamgirls and all his stiff, boring male leads to be put in a thunderdome and forced to fight to the death.

I also think PJ20 pretty much killed any remaining interest I had in the band, so... good job, Cameron?

Hollywood, California? Or Hollywood Hulk Hogan?
How does Stip feel about Hollywood, Florida?

It's where all the old Hollywood actresses go when they can no longer get cast in movies
