So it looks like Aaron Paul is playing Solo. I don't think I've seen him anything except the Breaking Bad pilot, but I think he seems like a good choice. Better than Pratt, anyway.

It's an old rumor. It would be pretty bad casting but thats life.

Chris Pratt really is the only one that could do it I feel. he's kind of spot on.

Would be nice to have someone else though.

Chris Pratt would be fine but he's already playing Han Solo for Marvel. Unless he's just looking to get in as many franchises as possible to maximize earning which I have no problem with but I'd rather hold out for Indy if I was him since that has a tradition of multiple actors playing the part and there might be slightly less belly aching. Slightly.

This just occurred to me: they pushed this back to 2018 because they didn't want two actors playing Han at the same time. But 2018 is before Episode 9 comes out, so isn't that a pretty strong hint that Han isn't going to be in the whole new trilogy (read: the rumors of his death are true)?

Wow all this talk about the Han Solo movie, now you're talking about EP9? Yeah, Han will be long dead by then or more fittingly frozen in carbonite again. If I remember it was supposed to be a new SW movie every year until 2019. A bit over-saturated don't ya think?
