sad personal note - I've never seen the song live - why they didn't play it during backspacer tour when I saw them when they had a string quartet (just breathe, the end, lukin), I'll never understand? seems like a perfect close out 1st encore type song. quartet and mike continue to play, everyone else leaves the stage. my head would explode.
One of the only real gems of the Philly 09 shows was Parting Ways.
I'm just looking at the picture but oh fuck they had an orchestra? fuuuuuuck

This song has aged well. This on Binaural is the only change to the album or song I would ever really want to hear.
