Thanks. I tried. Even started up a Nels Cline station on Pandora.

Either he's just not resonating with me or I happened upon a handful of his most boring songs. I'm hardly hearing any guitar actually, sounds like mostly horns and wind instruments.

Yeah, I've loved this album and have had it repeating through a few work days lately.

Excellent indeed, and perfect for background or more involved listenning, depending on whatever I happen to be up to at the time.

Definitely similar, but more, I don't know, "anchored" is the best word I can find. I'll listen to a Frisell album and enjoy it, but afterwards not have any clear recollection of what it was he was playing. The chord changes and sounds on this one seem a little more "sticky," in that I'll be able to remember certain parts after listening.
Have you listened to History, Mystery?
