its simple.
you can prepare for a disaster...or completely put your life in the hands of the authorities, like a dumbass,..
When it goes down, and it will-10, 50, a 100 years from now, there is a chance shit might get pretty bad. over 60% of Americans don't even have at least a $1000 in their bank account, its the same shit. absolute circle jerk, money flows up, companies have more influence, individuals have to work harder and harder for less and less.
but here's the thing....that has been the case since these institutions were created. Gov't serves busniess, and takes money from the people thru force.
Mom's comin round to put it back the way it oughta be,....

Understandable. Such a small mistake, but one that could be the death of us all.

one of my brother-in-laws turned into a prepper about a year ago. nothing worse than a lost fool with no direction and an enormous amount of disposable income.
he's gone so far off the rails lately, i don't even know him anymore. pretty sad, actually.

I would be very curious to know if similar surveys were conducted in the past, and if so, what the results were.

You preppers may just have bought yourself some more time. It appears that the zombie apocalypse has commenced.
