My wife has been re-watching this. I have mixed feelings about this show.
Marty was a dickhead, this is good news.Simple Torture wrote:First the election, and now this. I may not get out of bed for a week:

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.
Somehow? Gilmore Girls is the best thing you can ask for.tragabigzanda wrote:We are three episodes in to the original series, and I am somehow enjoying it.

I really like you so im not going to read that.tragabigzanda wrote:It's definitely old-school episodes television, which isn't something I'm typically interested in. But there's something about it...the Aaron Sorkin-esque cadence to the dialogue without the Sorkin-esque preachiness; the idea of a small town populated entirely by really strong, albeit one-dimensional characters; plus a really hot MILF in the leading role.VinylGuy wrote:Somehow? Actually im not sure you deserve it.

I had to Google what this means but I agree.LoathedVermin72 wrote:My wife loves this show but she said these new episodes are a little "member berries-ish." I hope this saying catches on.
do you normally live in fear of your wife's emotions?Birds in Hell wrote:I had to Google what this means but I agree.LoathedVermin72 wrote:My wife loves this show but she said these new episodes are a little "member berries-ish." I hope this saying catches on.
I was hesitant about mentioning how disappointing I thought the new episodes were to my wife in case she was really into them and I harshed her buzz but I was relieved to find out she felt exactly the same.
Yes, to be perfectly honest.spike wrote:do you normally live in fear of your wife's emotions?Birds in Hell wrote:I had to Google what this means but I agree.LoathedVermin72 wrote:My wife loves this show but she said these new episodes are a little "member berries-ish." Yeah, I'm talking the new season though. There were plenty of cry-fests when we watched the original series.tragabigzanda wrote:We are five eps in and no tears yet.Simple Torture wrote:My wife is watching this without me right now. Regardless of quality, how likely is she to be in tears the next time I go into the other room?
