@SkitchP wrote:the outrage over the outrage is WAY louder on the starbucks cups. I have not stumbled across a single facebook post or tweet that is actually bothered by the cup. Thousands of them complaining about the complaining though.
One my HS friends posted a picture with something like "We should be allowed to say Under God and Merry Christmas." I just unfriended her. All she does is post cheesy God shit anyhow.

I first learned about The War On Christmas via Bill O'Reilly, who would rage this war all the time back when I regularly watched his show. Apparently Twitter is telling me he said this:

Friend, they are champions at using social media to annoy people. I don't even have Facebook, and yet they still manage to make sure I know about and am embarassed by their narcissistic attention-seeking and judging.

My Starbucks has a Christmas tree with paper ornaments that list gifts needed for a family at a local high school. You take an ornament, buy the present, and take it back to Starbucks to be delivered the the family.

It offended me as an atheist, so I threw it at the barista and called him a Nazi.

I guess it kinda fits, that whole Saturnalia, neo-pagan angle. Also, they should have visually identified you as a godless public sector employee. Its really all their fault.

God, I hate when people making arguments say, "I mean, think about it."

I pretty much stop listening as soon as you say that. There's no argument that has ever followed that phrase (spoken in earnest) that's been valid.
