Jeff was a lot more entertaining than Kelly Curtis.

I don't know what was worse, those dorks asking questions, Kelly Curtis the walking corpse, or you dudes in here getting bent about a 1 hour chat on Twitter.

Jeff handled the two questions about Weiand well.

I don't know, perhaps my expectations are different but I thought it was fun, especially once Jeff turned up.

It's not like it was a complete waste of time, they confirmed:

- tour dates will definitely be announced in early 2016
- there's something also being planned around the band's 25th anniversary
- Jeff's currently digging through his boxed stuff from the mid 90s for the No Code/Yield reissue but it's nowhere near ready yet
- the band selects the Vault releases and have a shortlist they're working from right now for future releases
- they haven't been recording any new material in the studio lately
- no plans at all for releasing the studio version of Of The Earth

I have been spoiled by the bonus features on my kids' "My Little Pony" DVDs, where the voice cast does a panel at Comic-Con -- now that's a fuckin' Q&A. Of course those people are pretty actively engaged in their work, and usually have something they're excited about in the pipeline.

Seems like these guys schedule these things but have no interest in engaging the public beyond rote one-word answers and smug one-liners that don't even answer the question they're being asked.

It would help if there were some well constructed intelligent questions
