Our pal Carlos on their show.
He’s always stoned on edibles when they de odd the podcast.
I’d sent in a question a couple weeks back and he said he loved it it was very stream of concious.
I took mild exception to that :)

LOL yeah it's so weird.

Reminds me of the two hairstyles for old Han Solo in TFA

I remember wanting to walk out of this about 15 minutes into it.

Watching this...

Anakin would definitely be a victim of the Me Too movement.

Coruscant looks great in this film. I love that chase scene.

The final 35 minutes of this is quite good. Almost ruined by the 3PO head swap thing, which is just awful.

Not a top tier SW moment, for sure.

A small nitpick, I cannot stand how characters' feet do not realistically interact with the ground in this. Way too much green screen. Way too much.

Totally agree. I'm all for pushing the boundaries of filmmaking and technology but it's really distracting and frustrating in this.

I haven't started my Revenge of the Sith re-watch yet, but I remember it being even worst in that.

It is. The movie story is interesting but the movie itself is difficult to watch.

I just finished Revenge of the sith and it actually is pretty great and holds up to a star wars event for me. Only one of the prequels that i feel is pertinent and enjoyable to watch.

I watched it again not too terribly long ago and I feel the opposite.

It's easily the worst of the prequel films, for me (outside of Obi-Wan's beard, or course).

Funny. My rewatches confirmed that Ep 1 and 2 are awful on all aspects and I may never watch them again!

I actually like Haydens performance in Sith and the scenes between him and Obi Wan are great.

Yeah, that's probably fair. It's Hayden's best of the three. I concede that. But it's also Portman's worst.

All of the prequels are a mixed bag that, I think, are better in concept/idea than execution. However, the ideas AND execution work better in 1 & 2 than in 3, for me. I think a large part of why 3 resonates is that it contains seminal moments that fans from the beginning had long wanted to see play out (the Vader/Obi-Wan fight, for example). And by and large Lucas hits those moments in satisfying ways.

I might come back to the prequels someday. Maybe after ROS.

Why doesn't Owen Lars remember C3PO when he buys him in ANH?
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?
