Try Crossroads on Beacon Street near the corner of Mass Ave. It's still pretty close but outside of Kenmore proper so it might be less crazy. Barring that, I'd say go in the other direction out of Kenmore Square towards Allston and go to the Sunset. But that's not really walking distance you'd want to take the green line down to Harvard Street to get there.

But yesterday we went to Sal's (it's a pizza place) across the street from Game On. We were able to get a table, order a pie, and have a few beers before going in.

Green Street in Central Square (Cambridge) is fantastic -- great cocktails, beer list, and pub food. Prolly a 15 minute walk to the venue, plus MIT girls are a different type of hot than Northeastern and BU girls.
that's more than a 15 minute walk

This could be the first show I've gone to where there is above a 0.1% chance of Angel getting played.

Very appreciative of the tips from the Boston insiders.

Here's another one for you.. Is there any shot of finding a spot on the street somewhere within a reasonable walk of the venue tomorrow around 11-12 for just an hour or two? Basically just to pick up my tix and maybe some merch. I need to bail for a bit after that.

For some unknown reason, I've always had insanely good luck grabbing a spot on Huntington Avenue, across from the MFA. Another great spot is where Mass Ave intersects with Newbury St. Do a GPS for 415 Newbury St, it should take you to a tiny part of Newbury Street after it crosses Mass Ave. People never try to park on this tiny, dingy side of Mass Ave, so I've always had good luck there.
Awesome, I'll check those spots out. Thanks!

:peace:

Try Beacon St. near the Whole Foods.

Yeah you'll be able to find a spot somewhere in the kenmore/back bay area. Either along Comm Ave somewhere between Kenmore and BU East, or on Beacon or Comm or Newbury (or any of the side streets connecting them) anywhere within a block or two of Mass Ave in either direction.

When I picked up my tickets on Thursday I parked right in Kenmore in front of the McDonalds.
