My ticket was purchased by a friend. I didn't know he was buying them. Well, apparently his "Uncle Steve" was actually the one who bought the tickets, and his "Uncle Steve" accidently bought for night two. No way I am going to Chicago for a Monday night show. My buddy is still going Saturday night to meet other friends pre- and post- concert, but I will not be.

In circumstances such as tickets to a concert I really want to see, I have learned through bitter experience not to entrust their purchase to anyone else, whether that's a relative, a close friend or someone's "Uncle Steve". It rarely ends well.

Of course if I had been actively pursuing tix for this show I would haven't gone through Uncle Steve, but I wasn't planning on attending a show this tour at all. Money is too tight. This was a surprise text from a friend saying "hey I bought you a ticket, let's do this". So, no biggie, I'm not "out" anything, but after a week and some mental and emotional build up, it's a bit of a bummer.

Uncle Steve really dropped the ball

If your log in is really old (pre-2013) it's gone. The board was reset then and we all had to make new accounts.

I honestly didn't know that.

I still have mine. Many others do, too.

Which one of you is the former Cal Varnsen?

Can we make a rule that your signature has to identify your old board screen name? That would help explain some things for me.
