Last time I saw Counting Crows there were three guys together a row or two in front of me. They all theee had plaid shirts on, but honestly they weren't that similar (different colors, proportions, etc.) but goddamn if other people sitting nearby didn't give them a hard time about it. All in good natured fun but they got called out pretty hard.

I wear flannel/plaid shirts all the time. I've probably got 15 of them hanging in my closet.

I've never been made fun of (at least that I'm aware of), and I wouldn't care if I was. I think they look good and I'm comfortable. Do people really still associate these shirts with the grunge movement? Because I sure don't. That was like 25 years ago. And I don't wear corduroy pants or jackets, so that should disqualify me as grunge anyway.

There are few things as comfortable as a nice flannel shirt on a brisk autumn day.

I always hate how Puzzles and Games is included in this thing.
