We had a place that sold grinders around here, also there's subway, and I've heard people call 6-8 inch bread loaves... hoagie rolls.

I generally call them sandwiches.

Me too. But, apparently not. And, some foolishly actually call it "cabbage night."

According to #110, only you guys and Detroit have a word for it. I know I had never heard of it.

I just took a look at the "Individual" tab on that one, and I can see that Pittsburgh is the second most prominent on that behind Detroit. Other than maybe Buffalo it looks like everyone else is in the dark.

Coastal Carolina still says Crick. My grandfather had a home nicknamed Crickedge.

Despite being born & raised here I've always been told I don't have much of a southern accent and with a few exceptions (y'all, coke, dropping g at the end of words) these maps seem to confirm that. And I do pronouce "pin" and "pen" the same as do "tin" and "ten". I think I use both "greacy" and "greazy".
I've definitely heard old folks use "the devil is beating his wife" expression.
