I guess if it isn't towering above an audience, its still a stage.

We saw him on the Pretty Good Friends tour a few years ago and he was awesome; that show was with Tom Allen, Reggie Watts, and Eugene Mirman too. A very good time.bodysnatcher wrote:i'm also a really big fan of Kumail Nanjiani. caught him a while ago at a club. really funny guy. check him out

Re: The Stand-up Comedian Thread
I've never watched her comedy, but I heard her on an episode of Jeff Garlin's podcast and for some reason this brief exchange made me laugh really hard while on the train:cutuphalfdead wrote:Recently discovered Tig Notaro and really digging her stuff.

Re: The Stand-up Comedian Thread
I heard her on an NPR show a few weeks ago for the first time where she was blending comedy with the story of her mom's death and her relationship with her stepdad and was really impressed with her storytelling. Listening to her first CD now and there's some really good stuff here. I'll listen to that piece you posted when this is over.theplatypus wrote:I've never watched her comedy, but I heard her on an episode of Jeff Garlin's podcast and for some reason this brief exchange made me laugh really hard on the train:cutuphalfdead wrote:Recently discovered Tig Notaro and really digging her stuff.

I've been enjoying all the Kevin Hart specials on Comedy Central lately. That guy is funny.

My stepson loves Brian Regan. For his birthday we got tickets to see him in Charleston in March.
